How to easily reach Villa Pana
All important information about travelling to Monte Pana in Val Gardena by car, train, bus or plane.
Choose the most convenient option to reach Monte Pana.
By car:
From the north: exit the A22 motorway at Chiusa/Val Gardena and continue on the SS242 towards Val Gardena. Drive through Ortisei to Santa Cristina, where you can follow the signs to Monte Pana.
From the south: exit the A22 motorway at Bolzano Nord and continue on the main road towards Brennero, taking the Ponte Gardena exit. Then follow the SS242 towards Val Gardena. Passing through Ortisei, you will arrive in Santa Cristina, where you will find signs for Monte Pana.
By train and bus:
You can travel comfortably by train to the Bolzano, Chiusa or Bressanone stations. From there, continue your journey by bus to Santa Cristina (bus stop S. Cristina/town hall).
Once in Santa Cristina, the last short distance of about 2 km can be covered by taxi.
By plane:
The nearest airports are Bolzano (40 km), Innsbruck (115 km), Verona (191 km) and Venice, Milan and Bologna are about 300 km away.
